Businessman Peter de Cuyper, in partnership with local entrepreneur Andrei Sandu, has officially begun construction on their first residential complex in the Romanian real estate market. The project is being developed on the site of a former vinegar factory in the Obor area of Bucharest.
Last year, the duo acquired two adjacent plots of land from businessman Romeo Valentin Preda, totaling approximately 7,700 square meters, for around €6.6 million.
“We have commenced excavation work on the new residential project, which will feature 206 apartments across two buildings,” stated Andrei Sandu, owner of the Media City real estate group. “The estimated sale value of the project is approximately €27 million, with a planned completion date set for July-August 2025. Our goal is to create a premium development that excels in both construction and architectural quality, while also enhancing the quality of life for future residents.”
