Hines has acquired the Mira shopping center in the north of Munich on behalf of a German special real estate fund. The property was acquired from a fund managed by GLL Real Estate Partners. The purchase price was not disclosed. Hines acted as acquisition manager and will be responsible for asset management. Mira was built in 2008 and offers 24,000 sqm of space. Tenants include Rewe, H&M, New Yorker, dm, C&A, Aldi, Deichmann and Douglas. Hines plans to reposition the center and establish it as a popular hub for the city district.
