The retailer Profi opened its 118th store in Urziceni, in the Ialomita region, in space previously occupied by a Minimax store of the businessman Dinu Patriciu.
The store, which is located on Transylvania street, has 1,196 sqm, of which 900 sqm are sales area. This is one of the largest stores in the Profi network.
Profi, owned by the investment fund Enterprise Investors, closed last year with a turnover of €214.5 m, up 29 percent from 2010.
Profi recently announced it will open 30 new stores this year and will close four unprofitable ones.
