The company Adient has opened a new development and innovations center in Strakonice. The Czech company is a producer of industrial fabrics for the automotive sector, focusing its development on new technologies, production processes and the use of progressive materials. The new development center offers 3,500 sqm of space for automotive fabrics research and development and was built on Adient’s current production site. CBRE provided project management in the construction of the new facility, coordinating project activities and documentation during the permitting, tendering and execution phases. “Our team provided technical supervision for the investor as well as cost management as part of the change- order service,” said Jan Chloupek (CBRE). “The project was also special for being partially financed by the EU’s structural funds.”
