AFI was recently granted a building permit and started work on a commercial center in Brasov that will offer 45,000 sqm of leasable space, which will be combined with two class A office towers with, totaling 25,000 sqm. The project is expected to cost more than €120m. The center is scheduled to open at the end of 2018 or in the first quarter of 2019. The opening date is estimated at the end of 2018 or in the first quarter of 2019. The developer hopes to secure a LEED Gold certificate for the scheme. AFI Brasov is AFI Europe’s third commercial center developed in Romania, following AFI Cotroceni and AFI Ploiesti.
