AFI Europe Romania has completed the acquisition of a 40,000 sqm plot in the center of Brasov, where it plans to develop a mixed-use project, which includes the construction of a new shopping center, AFI Palace Brasov, and a Class A office project called AFI Park Brasov. The company is already in discussions with several retail chains for the anchor hypermarket for the mall that should be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017.
“AFI Palace Brasov is one of the most important projects of AFI Europe in Romania. We completed the acquisition of land and are now in negotiations for space devoted to the hypermarket with major chains in Romania. We expect to be able announce our new partner in the coming weeks, “said David Hay, CEO of AFI Europe Romania.
