Afi Europe makes room for Cora at Ploiesti Mall

Afi Europe has announced several changes in its shopping center project in Ploiesti Mall, scheduled to open on October 1, 2013. The total investment that requires the current project phase amounts to €40m, €5 m more than originally anticipated.

The total leasable area is now 29,000 sqm, 3,000 sqm more than the first drawings called for. The change has been made in order to accommodate the retailer Cora, which asked for more space. It will now occupy nearly the entire ground floor, which will cover an area of ​​13,000 sqm, 8,000 sqm more than was planned initially. Other services such as bank branches and telecom outlets will also be present there.

Among the first retailers announced their presence here include Flanco (1,200 sqm), H & M (1,600 sqm), Reserved (500 sqm), New Look (500 sqm), Aldo, Collin’s, Jolidon, Optinova, Bigotti, Musette, Samsonite etc. The mall will have 1,000 parking spaces, mostly underground.
