AFI Europe announced it secured €30m in financing to complete construction of its 28,000 sqm AFI Palace Ploiesti shopping center, just outside Bucharest. The money was obtained from Raiffeisen Bank International Vienna and AFI Europe’s Romanian subsidiary. The mall is scheduled to open Oct. 3.
Underway on Gheorghe Doja street, AFI Palace Ploiesti will include 100 retail units. The project is currently 70 percent leased. The tenant list includes Cora, Flanco, H&M, New Look, Reserved, Mussete, Timeout, Collins, Nike, Aldo, Motivi, Otter, Lee Cooper, Il Passo, B&B, Jolidon, KFC, McDonald’s, El Bacha Restaurant, Quasi Pronti, Pizza Dominium, Thang Long and Pizza Bonita.
AFI Europe also owns the AFI Palace Cotroceni shopping center in Bucharest.
