Aldi plans to open about 60 stores and a new distribution center in Poland in 2022 and intends to employ over 800 people, the company said. Aldi will spend about PLN 30 million on investments this year, it said.

“The market situation is dynamic and particularly demanding for employers. Finding the right employees for many retail chains is still quite a challenge, and they are the foundation of our business. Therefore, Aldi constantly increases its market competitiveness by increasing the amount of earnings and attractiveness of the benefits package,” said the area director human resources Aldi Polska Anna Goleniowska.
This year, sellers starting work at Aldi will earn from PLN 3,410 to PLN 4,010 gross per month. The earnings of people in the position of a salesperson, with at least three years of experience, are in the range of PLN 3,810 – PLN 4,410 gross. A warehouseman with the least seniority will be able to count monthly for the amount of PLN 3,810. A beginning shop manager will earn the most, from PLN 5,615 to PLN 6,415, every month. All rates are gross amounts and include the value of the prepaid card as well.
In the last 5 years, Aldi in Poland has achieved the highest growth dynamics on the market, the chain has increased the number of its stores by 70%, and is also constantly working on strengthening brand recognition and developing employment policy, it was noted.
Aldi in Poland has 203 stores and employs nearly 3,600 employees.
