Nearly 5 million people visited the Galaxy shopping center in Szczecin in the first three months following its expansion. The highest footfall was recorded in December when the mall was visited by close to 1.4 million people, up by 24 percent from the previous year. November saw the highest growth rate, with 30 percent more visitors than in 2016, while January’s footfall was up 16 percent y-o-y. Galaxy, owned by EPP, is located in the center of Szczecin. The mall’s new expansion was opened in mid-November. “Our customers are very happy with the extension, and this impressive footfall is the best proof,” said Marcin Ziółkowski, asset manager at EPP. “Galaxy’s customers appreciate both the widened offer as well as the new, elegant facade and wide, spacious shopping windows that meet the most contemporary design trends.”
