The electronics retailer Altex Romania opened a new store today in the Militari Shopping Center in Bucharest, replacing a Domo store. The new 1,400 sqm outlet is the eleventh to open in a former Domo showroom.
“Militari Shopping Center is an important location for us and our cooperation for over seven years is proof of that. Currently, our partnership with the shopping center brings changes in the approach of our presence,” said Dan Ostahie, CEO of Altex. He added that the company’s other electronics format, Media Galaxy, would not be renewing its lease at the mall. However, he did not rule out a return of Media Galaxy if Militari Shopping Center were to be expanded and modernized.
The Altex network in Romania includes 86 stores.
