The online electronics retailer Alza.cz has expanded beyond the standard range of products such shops sell by offering electric cars. Today, Alza has begun sales of the Jaguar I-PACE, whose basic price works out to CZK 2.6m with VAT. Customers can order the vehicle with just a few clicks on their phone and pay for it all with Bitcoin, but initially, only five are being made available. The I-PACE can drive up to 470 km on a single charge, though this may not be achieved by those who repeatedly test its ability to accelerate from a stop to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
