Alza.cz is opening its first showroom devoted exclusively to mobile phones and accessories. The store on Štefaniková Street in Prague 5 – Anděl was already one of the online retailer’s busiest outlets but the company decided it would perform even better if it specialised. By pushing its storage space downstairs, Alza was able to expand the sales space to 400 sqm so that it can display as many as 150 different phones. The new store will serve as a pilt project for Alza, which is considering opening similar outlets in other cities outside the Czech Republic, with Bratislava one of the possibilities.
