The building materials distributor and DIY retailer Ambient Sibiu has filed for bankruptcy. The company reported a 20-percent fall in sales last year.
Ambient operates 12 stores in Romania. “The way the construction sector and the building materials trade has evolved in recent years shows that the local market remains a difficult one,” Ambient said in a statement.
