Amesbury plans to build a sport stadium in Pilsen with seating capacity for 8,000 visitors and a shopping mall. To be located along the western ring road, the project would likely require an investment of between CZK 2bn and CZK 3bn. Amesbury, which has already built and now operates two industrial zones in Pilsen, says it could begin construction of the first phase this year. A large residential project should follow. In all, Amesbury plans to develop 11 ha of land in the area called City West. The shopping and sport facilities will cover five hectares of the total. The developer owns part of the land, and claims to have pre-contracts with private owners for the rest.
