Anholt Services, an American investment company, bought Agraria Nord from Gerald Schweighofer for €10.5m. Agraria Nord operates 5,000 ha of land in Botosani. The deal also includes a farm located in the town of Draguseni, 20 km from Botosani. It has a storage capacity of 23,000 tons. Southern Harvest, an Anholt subsidiary, recently announced the acquisition of 6,000 ha of agricultural land in Romania. The price of the deal, which also included storage facilities, was not disclosed.
