22 May 2014

Apsys Polska has secured financing for its Łacina retail project in Poznań, which is part of the Polish government’s investment program. Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and ING Bank Śląski have agreed to back the developer with the 100,000 sqm investment, in exchange for its input into the revitalization of the surrounding public area. The banks said the deal will add new jobs to Poznań’s labor market. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed, but costs could reportedly hit €290m.

The banking consortium and Apsys Polska expect to complete the project within the next two years. The retail center has a catchment area of more than 76.
