Atrium is set to acquire the Wars Sawa Junior retail center in Warsaw from PFCEE, a fund managed by CBRE Global Investors. Atrium used a mix of existing cash resources and external financing for the transaction. Once the deal is finalized, Atrium will own four major shopping centers in Warsaw with a total GLA in Poland of approximately 550,000 sqm. Atrium expects to add a further 26,000 sqm of GLA to its Warsaw portfolio by the end of 2018 as part of its ongoing redevelopment program.
