Atrium prepares to expand Copernicus in Toruń

8 October 2012

Extension work on Galeria Copernicus is ready to kick off in the city of Toruń, on a 36.1 ha plot site the investor has acquired from the company Apator. The investor, Atrium Real Estate Poland, plans to add 16,000 sqm of new space to the 29,000 sqm shopping mall that’s already operating there. It claims the first lease agreements have already been signed for the expanded part of the mall. The current anchor at the mall is Real, which occupies 11,000 sqm in the mall. “At the moment, we’re selecting the general contractor for the project,” says Katarzyna Cyz, CEO Atrium Poland Real Estate Management.
