Two more shopping centers managed by Nhood Polska received international SafeGuard certificates confirming that the facilities meet sanitary requirements related to preventing the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic. The designation, which was awarded to the Auchan Gdańsk Shopping Center and Auchan Gliwice Shopping Center on May 25, was preceded by a detailed audit carried out by Bureau Veritas. The process of verification of epidemic safety standards is underway in another four commercial facilities managed by Nhood Polska.
The auditor assessed the compliance of the solutions used in the facilities with sanitary and legal requirements related to the prevention of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The in-depth verification carried out by Bureau Veritas included the assessment of operating procedures and an independent audit at the facility in the form of inspection.
Auchan Gdańsk Shopping Center and Auchan Gliwice Shopping Center, awarded with the Oshopping quality seal, are places of shopping eagerly visited by residents of the area who appreciate the diverse commercial offer of the facilities. Renovation works carried out in shopping centers in recent years have significantly influenced the comfort of shopping and using the facility. The obtained SafeGuard certificate confirms the effectiveness of a number of measures taken with the safety of customers and tenants of the shopping center in mind.
“The safety of our clients is our priority. From the moment the state authorities announced the state of epidemic threat in March 2020, we have been implementing appropriate procedures in this regard in our facilities. We carefully monitor changes in the applicable regulations and adapt the solutions applied to them. I am glad that these activities have been appreciated by independent auditors granting the SafeGuard certificate,” – said Aleksandra Dubrawska, property management director at Nhood Polska.
Having obtained the SafeGuard certificate by the facility, it is possible to place special markings on the entrance doors, which confirm that the facilities meet the highest hygiene standards and have undergone laboratory tests, confirming the absence of signs of coronavirus on selected surfaces. In addition, each facility that received the SafeGuard certificate was described on the RestartYourBusiness internet platform. Everyone can check which facilities have already been verified in terms of sanitary procedures and are SafeGuard certified, and which are undergoing verification.
Currently, three facilities managed by Nhood Polska can boast the SafeGuard certificate – Galeria Bronowice, Auchan Gdańsk Shopping Center and Auchan Gliwice Shopping Center. In the near future, SafeGuard certification will be granted to another four facilities managed by Nhood all over Poland.
