Autoliv, has leased space at Palas Iasi where it is planning to open an engineering center. The company, which produces automotive safety systems, is currently located at UBC2 in Timisoara. Autoliv is developing software for Active Safety products as well as Passive Safety. Autoliv owns factories in Resita, Sfantu Gheorghe, Brasov, Lugoj and Onesti. It has engineering centers in Brasov and Timisoara. The company has almost 11,000 employees in Romania.
