Average net monthly earnings for Romanians could increase by 4.2% this year to RON 1,540, according to estimates made by the National Commission of Prognosis.
It said tha average gross earnings could incease of 4.5percent, to RON 2,117. According to the International Labour Office criteria, at the end of this year, the unemployment rate will reach 7.1% and the number of unemployed will reach 703,000 people.
The National Prognosis Commission has estimated that inflation will reach 3.5% in 2012, a slight increase from 2011.
