China’s second largest banking institution is set to open a branch office in Prague, according to market sources, having agreed to take 600 sqm of office space at Florentinum in the city center. The building was developed and is currently owned by Penta, whose spokesman said the company only comments on deals that have been concluded. However, Bank of China is believed to be planning to begin operations by September. Headline rents at the building tend to be around €18.5 per sqm.
