The Chicago-based investor, Thomas J. Baryl, who founded People’s Auto Parking in Chicago, has picked up the Orion Center retail and office complex in Fort Myers. The asset, which has 30,021 sqf of retail space along with 10,000 sqf of office space sold for $5.2 million, which works out to just under $130 per sqf. Orion Center is located at 6611-6631 Orion Drive in Fort Myers, roughly three miles from Interstate 75 and one mile from U.S. 41. The seller, OSC Partners, purchased the scheme for $2.6 million in 2014.
