A modern parquet flooring factory is to be built In Croatia in the small town of Djurdjevac. Bauwerk Boen Group invested about €13m in machinery, infrastructure, storage and on the reconstruction of the old facilities. The company acquired the wooden panel producer Haas Dom in Djurdjevac in late 2016. Bauwerk has maintained a long-term supply contract with the state forestry administration of Croatia. In the first phase of the investment, the company will invest €1.3m into the factory in order to double its production capacity. Bauwerk plans to increase the number of employees to 250 people and to begin exporting products to markets around the world.
