With a network of seven stores and 220 employees on the Romanian market, the Best Value duty-free chain posted a 4-percent profit in 2013 and is planning to expand its presence in the country. Best Value currently has shops at the Henri Coanda, Cluj and Timisoara airports. More than 9.3 million passengers passed through these airports last year. Henri Coanda, Cluj and Timisoara handled 87 percent of Romania’s total airline passenger load in 2013. Best Value is planning to open locations at the Sibiu and Targu Mures airports. The company posted a turnover of RON 80.2m (€18m) last year, up 16 percent from the previous year.
