Following four openings earlier this year, Billa is planning to open an additional three supermarkets across Slovakia in Žilina, Košice and Stropkov. Billa, part of Austria’s REWE International, currently operates a network of 125 stores in Slovakia. The food retailer has 4,000 employees. It recently opened supermarkets at Bory Mall (1,622 sqm) and Eurovea (2,267 sqm) in Bratislava. The chain added new locations in Považská Bystrica and Dolný Kubín this fall.
