Bingo, the largest supermarket chain in Bosnia and Herzegovina is building new shopping center in Bosanski Samac. Construction work has gotten underway, with completion due near the beginning of 2018. The new center will offer retail space on two 7,500 sqm levels. Bingo will operate a 5,000 sqm store, with the rest of the sales area to be leased out to restaurants, children playgrounds and entertainment. The value of the investment is about €2m and the municipality has pledged to invest in infrastructure and streets around the center.
Bingo was found in Tuzla in 1993. In 2015 Bingo had 175 stores around Bosnia and Herzegovina and 5,500 employees. In August, the company opened its 186th store.
