Renovation work on the facade of Bucharest Mall has started. Shoppers will have to enter the mall through a side door until September. The renocation mall is part of a reconstruction process that began after a new strategy for the mall was adopted in March 2013. The mall’s new look was designed by Altoon Partners, an architectural firm based in Los Angeles. The renovation includes large-scale structural work to reconfigure the interior and give it a more modern look.
Anchor Group owns Bucharest Mall. It’s Romanian portfolio also includes Plaza Romania, InCity Residence and the Anchor Plaza office building.
