Retail turnover on the Bulgarian market, excluding the sale of motor vehicles and motorcycles, increased by 0.9 percent m-o-m in November, according to the National Statistics Institute.
Sale increases were reported for medical and orthopaedic goods, cosmetics and toilet articles (4.3 percent); computers, peripheral units and software telecommunications equipment (3 percent); textiles, clothing, footwear and leather goods (1.5 percent) and automotive fuel (1 percent). By comparison, sales fell for mail order houses (-3 percent), non-specialized stores (-1.1 percent) and food, beverages and tobacco (-0.2 percent).
