Bulgaria’s gas operator Bulgartransgaz signed a €1.1bn contract with Saudi-led consortium Arkad to extended Gazprom’s TurkStream pipeline toward Serbia. The deal includes project design and development as well as delivery of materials and launching the operations. The project is expected to take 615 days to complete. Bulgartransgaz would supply gas to Serbia, Hungary and Austria upon completion.
