The Slovak server startitup.sk writes that Burger King appears to be preparing to open its first restaurant in Košice. It noticed that the the company had posted an advertisement on the job search site Profesia offering shift managers salaries of €1,160 to €1,400 and that it announced a year ago that it would be opening up to 30 restaurants within five years. The restaurant is currently operating in Bory Mall and in Avion in Bratislava. Burger King is part of the AmRest group, which controls numerous brands in the food and beverage sector across the region, including Starbucks, Pizza Hut and KFC.
