Burger King is opening a restaurant at the AFI Cotroceni shopping center in Bucharest on Friday. This is the American fast food chain’s second location on the local market. Its other restaurant was opened about a month earlier at Mega Mall. Burger King, operated by AmRest, is planning to expand its Romanian network to 50 locations over the next five years. AmRest, which also owns Starbucks, is planning to invest €200m in Romania.
