Carrefour will open a 6,500 sqm hypermarket on the ground floor of AFI Brasov, currently under construction in the city center. The shopping center will offer 45,000 sqm of leasable retail and 25,000 sqm of leasable office. The first floor will host the food court and an interactive zone, while an entertainment area will be located on the second floor, which will also include the cinema. The shopping center is scheduled to open in 2018.
This is the third mall to be developed by AFI Europe in Romania, followng AFI Cotroceni (81,000 sqm) in Bucharest and AFI Ploiesti, which has a gross leasable area of 34,000 sqm.
