Carrefour opened its 60th supermarket in Romania in the city of Bacau.The new supermarket, located in the city’s Piata Nord zone, has a sales surface of approximately 425 sqm and will have 30 employees.
The French retailer has nearly 9,900 stores in 30 countries and 412,000 employees, making it the top supermarket chain chain in Europe.Carrefour has 93 stores in Romania, including 24 hypermarkets, 60 supermarkets and nine Carrefour Express mini-markets.
