Casa Rusu, the retail company of the Timisoara-based furniture manufacturer Rus Savitar, opened a 6,000 sqm Super Store at Vitantis Shopping Center in Bucharest. The investment amounts to €1.5m. This is the company’s 18th location in Romania.
Casa Rusu Vitantis intends to open at least three more super stores, ranging between 6,000 sqm and 8,000 sqm, by the end of 2016 in Brasov, Cluj and Timisoara, according to Cristian Rusu, owner of the Rus Savitar-Casa Rusu group. The company’s traditional store size is between 1,000 sqm and 4,000 sqm. Casa Rusu Vitantis anticipates that it will post a turnover of €3m by the end of the year.
