The Castorama network of renovation and construction stores has taken over five new stores, which until recently, operated under the Tesco brand. The new assets are situated in Ruda Slaska, Rzeszow, Tychy, Olsztyn and Starogard Gdanski. Thanks to the new investments, the Castorama’s portfolio in Poland expanded to 70,000 sqm. Tesco has been present in Poland market since 1995. In 2019, the British chain closed 62 stores in Poland. Currently, Tesco announced its intention to sell more of its stores.
