Castorama has opened its 100th store in Poland – Castorama Piaseczno in the municipality of Lesznowola, the chain said. The new facility is located in a retail park in Mysiadle near Warsaw, and its concept is part of the company’s sustainable development strategy. In accordance with the strategy of expansion, the network plans another two openings in 2023 – in Lomianki and Olkusz.
Ultimately, the company’s plans for the next five years take into account the creation of approx. 80 new stores throughout the country, in various formats tailored to the needs and expectations of customers, are given.
“The launch of the hundredth store is the result of our many years of efforts to be close to our customers and be able to work together. We want to act as a good neighbour and offer comprehensive support for improving housing. We are developing dynamically, but also consciously, paying great attention to the solutions and decarbonization technologies that we introduce in our newly opened facilities,” said the director of the store Castorama Piaseczno/Lesznowola Robertowska.
Castorama Polska launched its first store in 1997. The company employs about 13,000 people. Castorama Polska Sp. z o.o. is part of Kingfisher plc, an international company with over 1,470 stores in 8 European countries.
