CBA, the Hungarian grocery store chain is to open 7 new stores in the country’s regional towns, thanks to support from the New Széchenyi Plan and the EU. CBA was established in 1992 and its ownership is 100% Hungarian. Its role is to provide market for Hungarian farms and gardens to sell their products. CBA was awarded a HUF 330m grant from the European Union for establishing new jobs in the region. The new stores will be established in bigger Hungarian cities, like Kaposvár, Sopron, Nagykanizsa, Pécs, Szeged, Zalaegerszeg and Szombathely. They are expected to be opened by April, 2013.
