In a €145m deal, CBRE Global Investors acquired the Glacis-Galerie shopping center in the Bavarian town of Neu-Ulm. The seller is a joint venture between Procom and OFB. Opened in March, Glacis-Galerie offers 27,000 sqm of retail space and 1,100 parking spaces. Tenants include H&M, Zara, Media Markt, C&A, REWE and Ochsner Sport.
“We have acquired a high-quality and excellently located shopping center. The scheme has an attractive tenant mix with international brands that are not yet present in the area. Because of the high visibility of the center, we expect high footfall which should all be contributing factors for a strong-performing shopping center,” said Ulrich Oppermann, head of German transactions at CBRE Global Investors.
