CBRE Global Investors acquired the Galeria Mazovia shopping center in Płock with a gross yield of 7.9 percent. The investment makes Mazovia the sixth project in the CBRE ESCF fund, following Tyresö Centrum in Stockholm, Centre Commercial Boissénart in Paris, Galerie Saint-Lambert, Liége in Belgium and Leine Center in Hannover and StadtCenter in Düren, Germany.
Florencio Beccar, the ESCF fund manager at CBRE Global Investors, said the company’s most recent transaction makes it possible for CBRE to diversify its portfolio and to increase its position on the Polish market. “We’re confident that this project will satisfy our investors, as it will be generating solid rental income and high return rate, with the rental growth in sight, thanks to an effective tenant mix,” Beccar said.
Delivered in 2010, Galeria Mazovia is the biggest retail and leisure center in Płock, offering more than 28,000 sqm of leasable space in 120 retail and service units.
