CBRE Global Investors closed the acquisition of Galeria Sfera a shopping mall in the town of Bielsko-Biała. Helaba backed the vendor with an €96m investment loan and another PLN 200m to cover taxes. Linklaters, Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE Building Consultancy brokered the deal. Opened in 2001, the 62,000 sqm Galeria Sfera was one of the first retail large-scale revitalization schemes and included office, leisure, hotel and residential components.
Earlier this year, CBRE Global Investors sold the Sarni Stok retail center in Bielsko-Biała to Union Investment.
