Changes in the Helaba Board of Managing Directors

The Owners’ Assembly and the Supervisory Board of Helaba Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen appointed Klaus-Jörg Mulfinger as Executive Managing Director and designated Board Member of Helaba on March 2013. Mulfinger had been Chairman of the Board of Sparkasse Wetzlar from 1998.

After graduating in Economics, he started his career at Bayerische Hypotheken and Wechselbank AG Munich. Further professional stations included Sparkasse Böblingen and Volksbank Waiblingen, where Mulfinger was member of the board from 1991 to 1998. As an Executive Managing Director of Helaba, he will be responsible for the S-Group Bank, business with the public authorities and LBS Hessen-Thüringen. The new General Manager is to become a regular Board Member, as soon as the regulatory prerequisites are fulfilled.

The Owners’ Assembly and the Supervisory Board have appointed Dr. Detlef Hosemann for a second term of office as Member of the Board and Chief Financial Officer of the Bank. In this function Hosemann will also be responsible in future for the following divisions: Accounting & Taxes, Group Controlling, Organization and IT, Compliance and Data Protection.

Hosemann has been a member of the Helaba Board of Managing Directors since December 2009. He has a PhD in Mathematics and came from KPMG to Helaba in 2002. In November 2008, he was appointed as General Manager and designated Board Member of Helaba.
