After two years of operation, French leather goods retailer Lancel is closing its shop at Baneasa Shopping City in Bucharest, citing low sales. The company closed its store on Calea Victoriei in the spring of 2016 to move to the shopping center in the north of the capital. Founded in 1876 in Paris, Lancel sells luxury bags and leather accessories for women and men as well as baggage items.
