The French shopping center specialist Compagnie de Phalsbourg has acquired a 138,000 sqm plot of land in the Madrilenian suburb of Torrejón de Ardoz from the city of Torrejón. The company is planning to build shopping center with a retail surface area of 65,000 sqm. Called Open Sky, the mall will offer 60 stores as well as 2,500 parking spots. The company estimates the cost of the project at €110m. The developer eventually plans to add a 22,000 sqm outlet center to the site.
