Element Development will break ground on Bistrita Retail Park in northern Romania this fall. The shopping center will offer 15,000 sqm of space with completion set for the second quarter of 2017. CBRE Romania will oversee the leasing process.
“Bistrita is a city with high potential for retail, and this is confirmed by the interest of retailers for this project. Bistrita Retail Park benefits of an excellent location, and the food anchor is already secured and will have 6,000 sqm,” said Carmen Ravon, head of retail leasing at CBRE Romania. “After expansions in major cities, retailers already take into consideration cities with up to 100,000 inhabitants, and Bistrita is an example in this respect for local retail development.”
