Coop, CBA expand across Hungary

20 November 2012

The Hungarian retail chains Coop and CBA are expanding: 62 Match and Profit stores will become Coop stores, while 48 will be taken over by CBA. The transactions were either self-financed or financed through bank loans. According to Coop’s company policy, 85 percent of all the products sold in its new stores will be produced in Hungary. The company also plans to make several infrastructure and technological upgrades at its new stores. Coop’s annual revenues are expected to increase by HUF 20bn to HUF 25bn, reaching HUF 630bn.
