Croatia’s consumer prices fell by 0.9 percent in October compared to the same month last year. The main driver of the lower prices, according to the country’s National Statistical Office, are falling fuel prices. Eurostat confirmed that Croatia has joined other EU members now experiencing deflation. Croatia’s consumer prices measured by the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices fell by 0.5 percent in October compared to October 2014.
