The Croatian economy grew by 2.8 percent y-o-y in the third quarter of 2015. This marks the biggest increase since Q2 2008, when the country’s GDP grew by 2.9 percent, and the fourth consecutive quarter of growth, according to recent figures released by the national statistical office. The country’s GDP increased by 1.2 percent y-o-y in Q2 2015.
Increases in household spending and goods and service exports helped boost the economy, according to the national statistical office. State spending also increased by 0.6 percent, while gross fixed capital formation jumped 2.2 percent.
