Croatian INA starts gas production from Adriatic Sea

23 March 2022

Croatian oil and gas company INA announced it has started natural gas production from a new well on the Ika gas field in the Adriatic Sea.

“The Ika B-1R-DIR well was successfully connected to the existing INA production system in the northern Adriatic, ensuring the supply of an additional 150,000 cubic metres of natural gas per day into the Croatian gas system,” the company said.

The annual production of the new well will amount to nearly 55 million cubic metres, which currently represents around 7 percent of INA’s total offshore and onshore gas production.

INA-Industrija Nafte d.d. is among the biggest companies in SEE.
